The Site uses Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) to track user actions, measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, and serve targeted advertisements on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). In the course of providing our services, we may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with content creation, editing, and development. Client data, including manuscript content and personal information, may be processed through these tools. We select AI tools that maintain reasonable security standards and do not use client data for purposes beyond the scope of our services. We do not permit AI tool providers to use client content or personal information to train, improve, or develop their AI models, and we select tools with contractual terms or configuration settings that prevent such use. Specific AI tools used on your project are disclosed in your service agreement, and your consent is obtained before services begin.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. As a general practice, we retain client project data for three (3) years following the completion of a project, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. Certain data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as tax records).
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. Payment information is transmitted using encryption (SSL/TLS). However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a security breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and applicable regulatory authorities as required by law. The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.
The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
