I've Always Been a Writer
It started in tech, doing technical writing where precision and clarity aren't optional — they're everything. Then I spent 25+ years as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working in ICUs, hospitals, and care centers across the United States, England, and Japan, helping stroke survivors and brain injury patients bridge the gap between what was inside them and what the world could hear.
My background as a therapist taught me to be a listener first — to create a safe space where people can unpack their deepest stories and most complex ideas without judgment. That skill transforms how I work with clients now, helping them navigate the vulnerable process of turning their expertise into a book that truly represents who they are.
Why I Write
Here's the truth: I love this work. Not in the polite, professional way people say they love their jobs. In the way where I wake up genuinely excited about the person I'm meeting with today and the book we're building together.
I love the moment a client says something in a coaching session and doesn't realize it's the thesis of their entire book. I love watching someone who's been invisible in their industry for 20 years suddenly become the person everyone's quoting.
This company exists because I believe the right book changes everything.
We are selective about who we work with — not because we're exclusive, but because we pour ourselves into every project. We take on work we connect with. We write with heart, precision, and a deep respect for the story only you can tell.
Friends don't let friends write bad books. I've built my entire business around that.
